Retro Disney World Apparel Floats into EPCOT’s Port of Entry
Over the last year or so, Disney has really done a good job of releasing merchandise that encapsulates the company’s rich past. From forgotten films, to long gone attractions, it seems as if the company is doing its best to release items aimed at die hard Disney fans.
When visiting Port of Entry at EPCOT today, we came upon some new apparel that definitely fits this category. One look at these new clothing items will have you fondly remembering the Disney of the 1980s and 1990s!

20th Anniversary Sweatshirt
First up we have this Walt Disney World 20th Anniversary sweatshirt!
In case it wasn’t obvious, Walt Disney World celebrated its 20th anniversary in 1991 with the “Year of Surprises”. In honor the milestone birthday, Roger Rabbit would surprise gusts throughout the Disney parks with prizes and honors.
Here is a closer look at the sweatshirt. It features the “D” Mickey logo above the celebration’s slogan “20 Magical years”. I love this logo!
The back of the hoodie features the 20th anniversary circle logo, featuring mickey ears with three flags coming out of the top. Each flag represents one of Walt Disney World’s theme parks that was open at the time.
This hoodie is sure to fill you with nostalgia, and with the 1990s all the rage again, what could be better than celebrating 20 years of Walt Disney World Magic.
Retro Mickey Sweatshirt
The second set of nostalgic apparel that we found today at Port of Entry are this retro Mickey teal sweatshirt and sweatpants set.
The sweatshirt features an adorable Mickey on the front with the slogan “welcome friends!” beneath him.
Mickey looks like is straight out of the late 1980s or early 1990s here, and I love it!

Retro Mickey Sweatpants
The matching sweatpants are once again teal and feature a very casual Mickey. I really like this look for Mickey, its different from his normal red and white colors, but is comforting somehow.
The pants also feature Mickey’s name in a fun yellow font! Right now these sweatpants are selling for $49.99.
