Why It Might Not Be Easy to Get to EPCOT Today
Disney World offers many transportation options that make it really easy to get around the parks — but it’s never fun when one of those methods breaks down.

You can choose from Disney buses, the Skyliner, the Monorail, or even book a Minnie Van at an extra cost, and like many things in this world, transportation can malfunction. If you’re headed to EPCOT today and you had your heart set on taking the Monorail to the park, you may want to head in another direction.
The Disney Monorail
The Disney Monorail connects Magic Kingdom and EPCOT as well as a variety of hotels, and it can be a super convenient way to travel between the parks.
Unfortunately, the track leading to EPCOT was down today, January 11th, 2023.
Monorail to EPCOT was closed!
We attempted to take the Monorail to EPCOT from the Transportation and Ticket Center and found that the transportation method was closed, and Disney alternately offered to bus guests to EPCOT.
Heading to the buses
Disney buses are still a great way to get around Disney World, however, so you won’t be stranded without a way to get to EPCOT! If you’re headed to EPCOT today and don’t want to take a Disney bus, you might want to consider other options, like the Disney Skyliner.
