Pinocchio Village Haus Now Offering Larger Side Salad Portions
It’s a new year, and with it comes some welcome changes for Disney World Guests. We’re happy to report that the Side Salad from Pinocchio Village Haus is back to its original, larger portion size!
Pinocchio Village Haus
Located in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Theme Park, Pinocchio Village Hous offers Italian favorites. The quaint cottage atmosphere is inspired by Disney’s classic animated film, Pinocchio.

Recently, MickeyBlog shared two new savory and sweet items that debuted at the location. Our MickeyBlogger is at the Parks today, where she was met with a pleasant surprise.
Disney World Cuts Salad Portions
Last September, we reported that Disney had shrunk its salad portion sizes. At a previous earnings call, The Walt Disney Company CFO Christine McCarthy made a controversial statement, that didn’t sit too well with Disney fans.
As she referenced cutting down the portion size, she claimed that it was “probably good for some people’s waistlines.” Not only was it a bit harsh, it seemed to show a lack of understanding when it comes to Guest’s wallets!
Although the portions were going down, pricing would remain the same. With all of the money loyal visitors spend at the Parks already, this was disappointing and frustrating news.
Larger Side Salad Portions
But that was a thing of the past! I don’t know if this has anything to do with the return of Bob Iger, but it’s a welcome change!
This Side Caesar Salad goes for $3.79 plus tax.
It comes with chopped romaine, caesar dressing, shredded parmesan, and croutons.
That’s a much more reasonable portion size if you ask me!
Although the previous size was more like a snack, our MickeyBlogger shares that the updated version makes for a nice, affordable, light lunch!
We’re glad to see larger side salad portions back at Pinocchio Village Haus! It’s the little things!
