Disney just made an exciting announcement. The character performer role is back for the Disney College Program!
Character Performer Role
The official Disney Programs advertised the update all over social media today. On Instagram, it shares, “The character performer role for #DisneyCollegeProgram participants is BACK!”

“In this role, you will have the chance to create magic and memories for guests at @WaltDisneyWorld as you bring beloved Disney character greetings and experiences to life in the theme parks and resorts.”
Beginning in the fall, Disney College Program participants will be part of the magic once again! Here’s how you can prepare.

How To Prepare
First, if you haven’t already done so, you’ll need to apply to the Disney College Program. Create your profile on DisneyAuditions.com, making sure to use the same email for both.
Next, learn the movement combination seen in the audition posting. Then, record a virtual audition of your performance.

Afterward, link the audition video to your DisneyAuditions.com profile. You can check-in to the audition on DisneyAuditions.com, but you have to link your video first.
Disney shares, “Following the deadline to submit your virtual audition, candidates selected to move forward will be contacted via email to attend an in-person callback audition for further consideration.”

“Candidates will only be contacted if they are selected to move forward in the audition process. If you are not contacted, you will still be considered for other roles on the Disney College Program, but you will no longer be in consideration for the Character Performer role.”
Attend an in-person callback for continued consideration of the Character Performer role. From March 3-10, in-person callback auditions with commence in select cities.

Remember, these auditions are only for those selected to move forward. Once all the callbacks have come to a close, results will be sent through email.
