The World of Frozen Nears Completion at Disney Park
Disney announced an exciting new project in 2016. Now, The World of Frozen is nearing completion at Disney Parks!
The World of Frozen
An expansion project developed by The Walt Disney Company and Hong Kong Disneyland, World of Frozen brings multiple new attractions to the Park. Included is a Frozen-themed land, called Arendelle: World of Frozen.

Other planned additions include a Marvel-themed land, Stark Expo, and Castle of Magical Dreams, which replaced Sleeping Beauty Castle in 2020. As per usual, Disney created a storyline for the new area.
Picking up after Frozen, but before Frozen II, the Kingdom of Arendelle is peaceful and prosperous. Queen Elsa has created a Summer Snow Day for its citizens!

Arendelle Castle
Back in November, MickeyBlog shared an update on Arendelle Castle’s progress. Breathtaking photos gave fans their first look!
Arendelle is the birthplace of sisters, Anna and Elsa in the movies. Its Norwegian-inspired design sets it apart from other Disney castles.

The exterior was almost complete, as Imagineers worked on bringing it to life. Disney shared that it would be topped off with ice ornamentation, adding to its immersive theme.
Located between “it’s a small world” and Toy Story Land, it was meant to open in 2021, however, the project has encountered several delays. It’s now scheduled to premiere this year, in late 2023, in honor of Frozen‘s 10th anniversary.
