New Holiday Mousse Dome Cake is Amazing!
Ah, we sure do love the holidays at Walt Disney World. The spirit, the magic, the festivities, the… mousse?
Yep, New Years Eve may have come and gone, but a brand new dessert arrival at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is letting us know that the sweet taste of the festive season is still upon us. Behold: the Holiday Mousse Dome Cake!
I mean, with it being Disney’s Animal Kingdom, they could have at least called it the Holiday Moose?
Anyways, this treat is new on the menu at Creature Comforts, one of our favorite locations to grab some tasty sweets and Starbucks between our safari adventures.

According to a friendly Cast Member, this limited-edition mousse popped up at Creature Comforts on Monday, and will be sticking around for the next couple of weeks or so.
At the time of writing, the treat isn’t listed on the Creature Comforts menu online, so luckily our MickeyBlogger Kristen spotted it “in the wild” instead!
The dessert consists of a thick, creamy, chocolate mousse, sat atop a chocolate cake base.
There’s a rich center of raspberry filling in there too, to add that tangy festive berry flavor that we all love to enjoy around the holidays!
As you can see from our photos, the dome-shaped creation is covered with glittering golden sprinkles that look perfect for the new year celebrations, and there are two chocolate buttons perched atop the cake like mouse ears.
It looks adorable, but you just know that gold dust is going to get everywhere!
According to Kristen, the chocolate mousse and cake of this treat were not overly sweet, creating a fancy, rich flavor which was delectably moist to enjoy.
The raspberry filling, however, was sweet and tangy. There wasn’t too much of this injected into Kristen’s cake, though, meaning the flavors didn’t overpower each other in any way.
All in all, we’d definitely recommend this one to chocolate lovers, as well as to those who are a fan of gold shimmer. It wont’ be available at Creature Comforts for long, so make sure you head on over there soon so as not to miss out!
