Lucasfilm Releases ‘Willow’ Series Clip “Allagash” Featuring Christian Slater
So far, fans have been treated to 6 episodes of a nostalgic series on Disney+. Today, Lucasfilm released a clip from WIllow entitled, “Allagash,” featuring Christian Slater.
Willow
Premiering in 1988, Willow is a fantasy adventure film by director, Ron Howard. Executive produced by George Lucas, it starred Warwick Davis, Val Kilmer, Joanne Whalley, and Jean Marsh.
Although not in the original film, Christian Slater joins the cast of the spinoff on Disney’s streaming platform. The series debuted in November, with new episodes airing every Wednesday.
There are 2 more installments left, with the show concluding on January 11th. Although reviews have been mixed, fans were looking forward to Episode 6, due to the arrival of a new character.
Christian Slater plays Allagash, a former companion to Madmartigan, played by Val Kilmer in the original film. In a YouTube video posted earlier, Lucasfilm gives fans an inside look at the episode.
Lucasfilm Releases “Allagash” Clip
In the clip, we find out that Allagash, who is hanging in a cage, has been caught in a lie. Attempting to appear as Madmartigan, he quickly admits his deception.
Willow announces that the character fought alongside Madmartigan at Land’s End. Allagash admits his identity, exclaiming, “Guilty!”
Kit remembers that her dad told her about him. He said that he was the only knight in Galladoorn dumber than he was!
Allagash quickly corrects her, saying her father must’ve meant braver. He then informs Willow and Kit that he’s the only one who knows where her father is.
Kit responds in surprise, believing that her father is dead. Allagash says Madmartigan was betrayed, along with the rest of them.
