Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Gets a Disney + Release Date
Although Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is still continuing its run at the box office, Disney has finally released the date that the film will arrive on Disney +.
The sequel to the 2009 blockbuster hit Black Panther, has managed to gross over $820 million and counting in theaters. Last week, the film manged to come in at #3 at the box office, 8 weeks after it premiered.

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Shuri, Naki, and the rest of the Royal Family must protect Wakanda from new threats following the death of King T’Challa.
The film received positive reviews from critics and film-goers alike, whose word of mouth buzz may have propelled the film to an extended run.

For those you waiting to see Wakanda Forever in the comfort of your own home, take heed. The film will be arriving on Disney + on January 20, 2023.
The fairly quick release date on streaming will continue Disney’s recent practice of sending film’s to Disney + before releasing physical home media.

At this time a release date for the film’s Blu-ray has yet to be announced. However, I would expect that detail will soon follow.
