Artist Behind Incredible Characters at Gideon’s Bakehouse Announces Festival of the Arts Appearances
With the New Year just around the corner, EPCOT is getting ready to embark on their first festival of 2023 – The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts which will be kicking off on January 13 and running through February 20,2023. This celebration of the visual, culinary and performing arts is a fantastic way to connect with some of your favorite artists including – Mr. Eyes (Aka Michael Reyes) who is the creator of the incredible characters you’ll meet during a visit to Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs.

Michael took to Instagram to share the news that he will be making several appearances during the Festival of the Arts. Here’s a look at the official post:

Mr. Eyes (AKA Michael) will be returning to the Pop Gallery booth which will be located just paste the China Pavilion. The exact dates are as follows:
- Friday, January 13th- 5pm – 8pm
- Saturday, January 14th – 12pm – 4pm
- Sunday, January 15th – 5pm – 8pm
- Monday, January 16th – 12pm – 4pm
- Thursday, February 16th – 12pm – 4pm
- Friday, February 17th – 5pm – 8pm
- Saturday, February 18th – 5pm – 8pm
- Sunday, February 19th – 12pm – 4pm

A new original artwork and print will be on offer during Michael’s Festival of the Arts appearances. This signed and numbered 11 x 14″ print will feature a character named Nathaniel and will be made on super heavy 1/16″ thick stock. It will be part of a limited edition run of 250 pieces.
In addition, another print featuring Narfino Necropolis will be available as an 8×10 signed print on the same heavy stock.
Festival of the Arts guests will also want to be on the lookout for other fun items from Mr. Eyes including new originals, pins, prints and even a surprise or two!
