In mid-December, a similar advisory was added to Disney World’s website. Guests can find the warning in the “Know Before You Go” pages.

These guidelines were added when the Parks reopened after the pandemic. They explain health and safety measures and reservation requirements.

Disneyland Issues Courtesy Warning

Here’s what the new Courtesy section says: “We ask all who come to this happy place to treat others with respect, kindness and compassion. To help guests have a safe and enjoyable experience, we regularly update our Disneyland resort rules.”

On the Disneyland rules page, Disney asks that Guests display common courtesy and refrain from using profane language. In addition, Guests are asked to refrain from “unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior.”

Disney World has always taken the lead when it comes to cracking down on rule-breakers. Florida’s Courtesy section goes on to explain the consequences of inappropriate activity.

It states, “Be the magic you want to see in the world. You must always remember to treat others with respect, kindness and compassion. Those who can’t live up to this simple wish may be asked to leave Walt Disney World resort.”

It’s a sad day when Disney has to tell Guests to be courteous, but that’s where we find ourselves at the end of this year. Hopefully, visitors will take Disneyland’s Courtesy warning seriously, to avoid further altercations at the Park.
