The Ultimate Golfer’s Guide to WDW Golf
Theme parks, food, and quality entertainment are not all that Walt Disney World has to offer. Golfers, this is your ultimate golfer’s guide to WDW golf!
Walt Disney World Golf is home to four unique courses: Disney’s Palm Golf Course, Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course, Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, and Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course.
Course Management
Arnold Palmer Golf Management operates Walt Disney World Golf. Their focus is to create the best course and club experience for every guest, every day.
Disney’s Palm Golf Course
Disney’s Palm Golf Course is located near the Magic Kingdom theme park. This 18-hole course has 9 holes with water hazards and 59 bunkers.
Arnold Palmer Design Company redesigned The Palm in 2013. The redesign brought modernization to this historic course.
Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course
Also located near the Magic Kingdom theme park is Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course. The course opened the same year as the theme park, in 1971.
Having hosted numerous PGA Tour events over the years, Disney’s Magnolia is nearing the end of an extensive redesign. As part of the redesign, each hole is named from classic Disney films.
Holes 1 through 14 reopened on Monday, December 12, 2022. Greens fees are discounted 33% while only 14 holes are available.
Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course
Located near Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Treehouse Villas, Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf has hosted professional events for the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, and USGA.
This 18-hole course is a certified Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuary.
Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
For golfers in search of a lighter outing, try the 9-hole course at Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course. This course also has junior tees for young golfers.
Golf carts are prohibited on Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course. Pull carts are available for rent, and when available, you can upgrade to the Club Car Tempo Walk Robo-Caddie.
Equipment Rental
If you want to pack light but hit the links on your Disney Vacation, each course has equipment available for rent.
TaylorMade golf clubs are available in Men’s and Women’s models. You can even rent Adidas golf shoes! For the junior golfers, EPEC golf clubs are available for rent.
Golf Carts
Greens fees for Palm, Magnolia, and Lake Buena Vista Golf Courses include golf cart rental. The use of golf carts is required.
Each golf cart holds two golfers. They come equipped with a cooler, sand bucket, windshield, and pull-down club covers.
Family golf carts are available for families of four heading out on the course together. Request your golf carts in advance; they are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
SoloRider vehicles are also available for individuals who can benefit from their use. These carts are designed for a wide range of accessibility needs.
Reserve SoloRider vehicles in advance. They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
FootGolf
A 9-hole FootGolf course is located at Oak Trail Golf Course. This course is certified by the American FootGolf League.
FootGolf is a combination of soccer and golf. A group of four can expect the nine holes to take approximately an hour and a half to complete.
FootGolf is a great opportunity for the whole family to hit the links together!
Driving Ranges and Putting Greens
All four courses have drivings ranges and putting greens. Private instruction with a PGA instructor is available for an additional fee (for juniors and adults).

WDW Golf Courses have strict dress codes. Golfers cannot wear denim jeans, denim shorts, or metal spike golf shoes.
