Located in World Showcase at EPCOT, Karamell-Küche features all things caramel! Guests will undoubtedly crave these rich offerings after watching them cook in the kitchen.

2 Delectable Werther’s Original Desserts

Today, we sampled two items on the menu, the Werther’s Original Caramel Chocolate Cookie Sandwich, and the Werther’s Original Caramel Fruit & Nut Granola Bar. While the sandwich is available from time to time, the bar debuted in November.

Werther’s Original Caramel Chocolate Cookie Sandwich

The Werther’s Original Caramel Chocolate Cookie Sandwich features two soft chocolate cookies, with marshmallow buttercream and Werther’s Original caramel drizzle. 

Guests can sample the sweet treat for $6.49.

Take a look at the size of this dessert! That’s quite a generous portion for the price if you ask me.

Not only does it look amazing, it tastes amazing too!

 

It leans towards a dark chocolate flavoring, making it not too overly sweet. This provides a nice balance for the vanilla buttercream inside, which is very sugary.

 

 

A slight drizzle of caramel finishes it off, and it’s so delicious, we wish there was more! Overall, it’s a fantastic offering, perfect to share with a friend, and satisfy your sweet tooth!

Werther’s Original Caramel Fruit & Nut Granola Bar

Next, our MickeyBlogger sampled the Werther’s Original Caramel Fruit & Nut Granola Bar. This dessert features a granola bar with almonds, oats, and cranberries, layered with Werther’s Original caramel and a sprinkle of sea salt!

Guests can sample the item for $4.99.

Although not as grand as the former dessert, our MickeyBlogger loved this sweet treat! 

It’s worth noting that it is smaller than expected, and is only sold as one bar, not two.

That being said, its flavor made up for any possible shortcomings!

This bar is fruity, nutty, and tart, with a nice, cinnamon spice to it. The salted caramel on top elevates what might have otherwise been a more simple granola bar!

 We love the balance of salty and sweet! The cranberries add a nice, tart touch, while the oats give it an earthy flavor.

 

But, the star of the show is the thick, caramel layer on top, making this one of our new, favorite snacks!
