Azul’s Fourth and Final Disney-Themed Aircraft Arrives in Brazil
The set is now complete. Azul’s fourth and final Disney-themed aircraft has arrived in Brazil!
Disney-Themed Aircraft
Azul Linhas Aéreas, a Brazilian carrier, has been partnering with Disney to promote beloved characters since 2021. Three Airbus A320neo and one Airbus A321neo showcase the magical designs.
Each aircraft features a unique portrait of a classic Disney character on its exterior. Inside, a distinctive cabin follows suit, donning special, Disney-related touches.
Mickey Mouse was painted in September 2021, followed by Minnie Mouse in December of that same year. Donald Duck was next, featured in early 2022.
On July 30th, the planes were united at the airport of Viracopos in Campinas, in celebration of Friendship Day. This summer, Azul Linhas Aéreas revealed its fourth and final aircraft in the fleet.
Fourth and Final Disney-Themed Aircraft
Daisy Duck adorns the final plane, an Airbus A320neo. It underwent its customization process at a factory in Toulouse, France.
The aircraft will soon begin transporting passengers to 40 cities. Its title is “Margarida Nas Nuvens,” which means “Daisy In the Clouds.”
Daisy Duck made her debut in an animated short in 1940. The aircraft features her iconic colors of pink, yellow, black, and white.
Flowers and dainty details align perfectly with her bubbly personality!
Arrival in Brazil
Recently, Cinthia Douglas, Director of Marketing and Sales for Latin America at The Walt Disney Company, shared about the plane’s arrival in Brazil.
In a Linkedin post, she opened up about an “unforgettable” trip to Toulouse, where she was able to visit the Airbus Factory. She stated, “‘Daisy in the clouds’ will be flying the skies of Brazil spreading Walt Disney World magic all across the country.”
Along with sharing some photos in front of the airplane, she gave a shoutout to Azul. “A big thanks to the incredible Azul team, my dear partners in Public Relations, Disney’s Yellow Shoes and The Jeffrey Group – you are the magic!”
We’re happy to see one of Disney’s most beloved characters donning Azul’s fourth and final Disney-themed aircraft!
