Why Disneyland Resort’s 2 Newest Rides Are the Best Yet!
On our recent trip to Disney Parks, we were over the moon to experience some state-of-the-art attractions. Here’s why we think Disneyland Resort’s 2 newest rides are the best yet!
As former multiyear Annual Passholders, our favorite rides were pretty much set in stone. That is, until we got to experience Disneyland’s 2 most recent additions.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Although we’d heard a lot about this ride and seen some videos on social media, we had no idea what we were in for. Previously, Indiana Jones Adventure was my personal favorite.
I love its immersive aspect which makes you feel like you’ve been placed right in the middle of the action. Well, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is Indiana Jones Adventure times 10!
Nothing can quite prepare you for the extravagance of this ride until you actually experience it. First off, the queue is amazing!
Similar to Indiana Jones Adventure, it’s littered with memorabilia and Star Wars accessories, making it an exciting part of the attraction. Time goes by so much faster when you’re invested from the start.
Once we were taken to particular rooms, we didn’t know what to expect. Therein lies the beauty of this experience!
Besides the portion onboard the trackless vehicle, one moment stands out in particular. At a certain point, Cast Members tell Guests to back up from a door.
When it finally opens, it’s both amazing and shocking to see an enormous room filled with stormtroopers. It was incredible, to say the least!
Then, of course, there’s the ride itself. A fantastically smooth galactic voyage, it makes you feel as if you’re living in a Star Wars movie!
Needless to say, it’s now my all-time favorite ride!
WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure
Interestingly enough, we didn’t hear much about this ride before we finally got to experience it. Therefore, our hopes weren’t very high.
But, as we made our way through the queue, we were already impressed! Seeing Tom Holland and Spiderman was incredible!
We were struck by the seamless technology, which has come such a long way since the last time we visited. Once onboard the vehicle, we had no idea what to expect.
We’d heard the ride was similar to Toy Story Midway Mania, but the vehicles were obviously much more advanced. I personally love the feeling of this attraction, as much as I love Pym’s Test Kitchen and Avenger’s Campus in general!
As the ride took off, its 3D images blew our minds! Using only your hands, everything is digitized; you become Spiderman, flinging webs at spider bots that have gone awry.
Although Radiator Springs Racers used to reign as my California Adventure favorite, this ride takes the cake, at least for now! Walt Disney famously said that “Disneyland will never be completed.”
He added, “It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world.” I, for one, am glad that this continues to prove itself true!
We were awestruck onboard both of Disneyland Resort’s 2 newest rides. In our opinion, they’re the best yet!
