Both Walt and Roy Steam Engines are Testing in Magic Kingdom Today!

We are inching ever closer to the reopening of the Walt Disney World Railroad! We’ve been bringing you regular updates on the trains and their many test runs…but today we spotted something that got us even more excited to hop aboard when the WDW Railroad reopens. 

Both the Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney steam engines were spotted testing today in Magic Kingdom!

As the Roy O. Disney was coming online for testing, it stopped in the Fantasyland Station where we were able to get some great up close shots of the fully refurbished engine. 

As we continued our tour of MK, we were surprised and delighted to find the Walt Disney steam engine testing too! With both engines testing simultaneously today, it tells us that the WDW Railroad is fully staffed and ready to operate two trains at once- the usual standard minimum number of engines that are online.
