Character Breakfast With Woody & Friends and Other Pixar Treats Coming to Disney Fantasy
We’ve got some exciting news for those setting sail on a Caribbean Cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy! In addition to all of the incredible eats and treats you’ll enjoy during the 7-nights aboard the ship, Disney Cruise Line will also be introducing a brand-new interactive breakfast with Woody and friends. But that’s not all. Disney Cruise Line is also adding to the fun with special eats and treats inspired by Pixar Animation Studios.
Breakfast with Woody and Friends
Grab your cowboy and cowgirl hats (and your appetite) for this brand-new interactive breakfast that will debut on the Disney Fantasy during Pixar Day at Sea. The experience draws its inspiration from Woody’s Roundup in Toy Story 2. Officially called the “Hew Howdy Breakfast With Woody and Friends” the special dining experience will feature a cowboy guitarist, musical show moments and appearances from Sheriff Woody, Jessie and Bullseye.
In between clapping your hands and singing along with “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” you’ll be able to feast on breakfast with all the fixins. The menu will be brimming with tasty treats including muffins, pastries, pancakes, French toasts, Mickey Waffles as well as new noteworthy items like the Prospector’s Breakfast Burrito (filled with potato puffs, sausage, scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese.) Or, you may opt to try Bullyseye’s Mini Pancake Tower with bananas, raspberry jelly, peanut butter and whipped cream. Those looking for lighter breakfast options will find smoked salmon with cream cheese, onions and capers as well as chilled grapefruit, yogurt parfait and a plant-based berry oatmeal parfait.
There will also be three signature breakfast dishes as part of the “Hew Howdy Breakfast with Woody and Friends” this includes the following:
- buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy
- two fried eggs (of your choice) with hashbrown potatoes and chorizo
- plant-based combo featuring scrambled eggs, sausage patties, pancake hashbrown and grilled tomato.
Please note: Advance reservations are required for the “Hey Howdy Breakfast with Woody and Friends.” Guests are able to book up to 30 days in advance of their sailing.
Joy-Filled Treats
Moving on to dessert, for Pixar Day at Sea, your family will find a wide array of awesome goodies. Stop by Sweet on You aboard the Disney Fantasy for goodies that celebrate the beloved stories of Pixar.
A great starting place is the Joyful Lemon Cupcake. It features a lemon sponge base and vanilla crème frosting.
Celebrate Woody’s bestie Andy with the Toy Story Letter Blocks (These chocolate cubes are filled with mixed candy.)
You can celebrate Sheriff Woody with the Sheriff Rice Kristy Treats Badge. It’s decorated with red, white and blue confetti and Woody’s badge and cowboy hat.
Themed desserts can be found at grab-and-go locations aboard the Disney Fantasy including Cabanas, Cove Cafe and the Concierge Lounge.
California Dining
For dinner during your Pixar Day at Sea, you’ll be able to enjoy new menu items that draw their inspiration from California. Appetizers include smoked salmon and smoked trout rillette, baked shrimp mac and cheese and salads with fresh ingredients like goat cheese, roasted yellow and red beets, pistachios and honey dressing.
Entrees include seared group, Makhani butter chicken, beef tenderloin and cobb salad. you’ll also find vegetarian options like the “Poke” bowl and veggie tagine.
For dinner, you’ll want to save room for dessert! A highlight is a Playful Pixar Ball vanilla cheesecake with blueberry filling and lemon almond cake. Other offerings include strawberry churros, a chocolate pot de creme, pink grapefruit almond cake, poached bosc pair almond tart and a chocolate fudge sundae!
