Shanghai Disneyland Reopening on December 8
We got big news out of China today, as Shanghai Disneyland has announced that it will resume full operations on Thursday. The news came following the announcement that the China would be relaxing its COVID-19 control measures.
For those of you who don’t know Shanghai Disneyland has been closed since November 29. At this time the park was shut down to the the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Shanghai.
While Shanghai Disneyland itself has been closed, Disneytown, Wishing Star Park and the Toy Story and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel have all remained operational.
According to the announcement, the “resort’s COVID-19 measures will be updated in accordance with the latest local government guidelines”.
If you are planning on visiting the park, be sure to check what those guidelines are. We should note that certain attractions, shows and experiences may still be unavailable. Shanghai Disneyland will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
