It’s the season of giving and Disney World has been treating Guests to a myriad of delights. We discovered an adorable, Menagerie Cupcake today, that’s bringing arctic bliss to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

MickeyBlog is in the Parks and came across the sweet treat at Restaurantosaurus in DinoLand U.S.A. We tasted it and will give you our review.

Restaurantosaurus is a themed dining location serving American fare, ice-cold beverages, and more! Disney invites Guests to, “delight in pre-hysteric, paleontology student humor as you dine on Angus burgers, chicken nuggets, and more in a dino-themed dorm.”
Let’s take a closer look at this unique cupcake, with a chilly twist!
Menagerie Cupcake
As you can see in the sign above, the Menagerie Cupcake is comprised of gingerbread cake, cream cheese filling, and frosting. Guests can sample the seasonal item for $5.99.
The cupcake comes in scalloped, turquoise blue wrapping. White frosting lines the edges, mirroring fluffy snow!
A polar bear sits atop a crystallized, blue base, reminiscent of ice. Notice the attention to detail in his face and body; he looks so cute!
Upon closer inspection, you can see eyelashes painted on. Dark blue swirls bring the animal to life, adding to the offering’s wintry theme.
Sparkly, white snowflakes finish off the arctic design. According to our MickeyBlogger, Ed, this cupcake was delicious!
While the cream cheese icing is very sweet, it balances nicely with the spiced gingerbread. There isn’t too much filling, as to overwhelm the dessert, and the flavors are a tasty combination.
We’ve shared an abundance of eats and treats for the holiday season, but we’ve never seen anything quite like this. It’s a little piece of art!
