Magnolia Golf Court to Reopen on December 12th
We’ve got some exciting news for all of you who love playing golf while at Disney World! The Magnolia Golf Course will be reopening on December 12th. We can reveal that 14 holes will be open while redesign work continues on the remaining four. The refurbishment includes new Disney touches throughout the course.

In celebration of the Magnolia Course’s 50-year history, each of the holes at the Magnolia Course will named after something Disney-themed.
As an example, the first hole in the course is called “Seize Your Moment” and is inspired by Coco. It is paired with a quote from Arnold Palmer which goes, “Putting is like wisdom – partly a natural gift and partly the accumulation of experience.”
We can also reveal that Hole Number 8 will be titled “Adventure is Out There,” which is a tip of the hat to Pixar’s UP and the signage for the hole includes a quote from Walt himself, “I have been up against tough competition all my life. I wouldn’t know how to get along without it.”
Also be on the lookout for other names representing iconic Disney characters including “Mary Poppins,” “The Lion King,” “Aladdin” and more!
The Magnolia Course will also offer an expanded practice putting green, complete with an 18-hold putting course. The larger-scale design and added contours of the area provides a more realistic practice environment for golfers. With its new design, the Magnolia course is sure to be the idea stop on everyone’s Disney gold trip.
