Comprehensive Guide to the Disney Dream

For starters, the Disney Dream joined Disney Cruise Line’s fleet in 2011 and is a sister ship to the Disney Fantasy. The ship boasts 14 decks and here is rundown of all the magic you can expereince on each deck:
Welcome Aboard!
Like any Disney Cruise Line vacation, the magic starts immediately upon stepping aboard. Crew Members will be on hand as you cross the ship’s threshold to introduce your family.
You and your guests will then see a bronze sculpture of Donald Duck and an Art Deco-styled chandelier when you look high in the sky!
Signature Dining
When you sail abaord the Disney Dream, you will roate through three distinct, signature dining restaurants each night for dinner. And, while you rotate each evening, so does your dining staff!
The three Disney Dream dining rooms are:
- Enchanted Garden where you will experience flavors from around the world
- Royal Palace where you will find yourself dining in the middle of a classic Disney fairytale
- Animator’s Palette where you are invited to embrace your inner artist surrounded by Nemo and friends
Broadway-Caliber Entertainment
If you are looking for some of the best entertainment on the high seas, the Disney Dream has it all!
When you visit the Walt Disney Theater, you can enjoy a musical production of Beaity and the Beast, catch a showing of Disney’s Believe that features a heartwarming story of a family who comes together through the power of Disney magic, and attend The Golden Mickey’s which is a Hollywood-style award show featuring dazzling performances that pay homage to the magic of Disney storytelling.
Adult-Only Experiences
Disney Cruise Line and the Disney Dream isn’t just for kids! There’s also plenty of adults-only dininig, entertainment, lounges, and spaces to enjoy!
Adults aboard the Disney Dream can enjoy a delicious Italian meal in Palo or a French-inspsired meal inspired by the hit Disney movie, Ratatouille, at Remy.
Once the sun goes down, the fun really turns up for adults in The District! There you can have a refreshing cocktail at one of the several bars and lounges including District Lounge, Evolution, Skyline, Pink: Wine and Champagne Bar, and Pub 687.
Oh, and did I mention there is also an adults-only pool and sundeck?!
Just for Kids
While there are some amazing areas reserved just for adults aboard the Disney Dream, there are also some areas just for the kids to enjoy!
For supervised fun and magic, your children will simply love The Oeaneers Club where they can be a Jedi-in-training while learning to pilot the iconic Star Wars: Millennium Falcon!
There’s also clubs reserved just for teenagers that they will absolutely love! From smoothie bars to video games and even a private pool, the Disney Dream teen clubs have it all!
