New Blackened Catfish Arrives on the American Holiday Table Menu for the Festival of the Holidays at Epcot!
If you’re yet to visit Epcot during their Festival of the Holidays this year, what are you waiting for?
So many delicious treats are available to sample, and us MickeyBloggers have been having a very merry time trying it all!
Today, our reporters are back at the fest, and we’ve found ourselves over at the American Holiday Table marketplace booth.
We’re excited to try some delicious national festive fare here, so why don’t you join us to see what’s new…
The new item on the menu that we were excited to try is this Blackened Catfish dish.
Sat on a bed of beans and rice, this catfish also comes with Hoppin’ John and Comeback Sauce, and we were keen to try these unique flavors in this fun holiday dish!
From the photos, you can see this dish sure does look appealing. Would it be something you’d order on a visit to the Festival of the Holidays?
It was our MickeyBlogger Kristen who tried this for us, and she reported back that the dish was fine.
The fish, which was cooked well and flavorful, is a good choice if you’re less keen on strong fishy tastes, however the spice from the sauce was a tad overpowering here.
While we’re not sure it would be something we’d order again, we’re glad we tried it, and would urge anyone else to give it a go, too!
A portion of this Blackened Catfish dish costs $6.50 from the American Holiday Table booth.
