Refreshment Port Pours New Holiday Offerings Today
Whether wandering past Refreshment Port to begin a trip around World Showcase or stumbling upon it toward the end of journey around the countries, the casual stop always offers seasonal treats during festivals. With the opening of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, today’s stop at the permanent quick service location did not dissapoint.
Offering a couple of their standard options, Refreshment Port added a few holiday beverages that explode with flavors of the season, especially the tart flavor burst that cranberries often provide.
Brought to EPCOT by Boulevard Brewing Company in Kansas City, Missouri, the Quirk Cranberry Apple Cinammon Hard Seltzer surprised us with quite the puckering first sip this afternoon. The tart-forward flavors fade though, and the hints of cinammon that follow make this an especially festive beverage.
Our ample pour of the hard seltzer cost $11.25 today. We opted to try the wine offering here rather than two other larger alcohol-based treats: the Pumpkin Spice-Ginger Cocktail featuring Boyd and Blair Potato Vodka and the Coquito Soft-Serve Ice Cream topped with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum.
Hailing from Mount Vernon, Washington, Pasek Cellars features a cranberry wine at Refreshment Port throughout the holiday season. At $7.50, the 3 oz. pour offered a balanced way to enjoy something both sweet and a bit sour today as we strolled through the fesival booths.
Though we found ourselves quite full today once we hit Refreshment Port, those looking for a filling snack can also try the Thanksgiving-centric Turkey Poutine. Set on top of a traditional pile of thin-cut fries, this poutine adds turkey, crispy onions and even cranberry relish to the poutine’s typical gravy.
