Holiday Decor Deck the Halls at Old Key West Resort
Holiday Decor deck the halls and all over the Old Key West Resort.
As you have followed along with MickeyBlog over the past few weeks you have seen Holiday Decorations adorn not only the theme parks but now the resorts as well.
Old Key West Holiday Décor
The Holiday décor matches the resort’s theming at Old Key West.
Very nautical with the rope garland made to look like a ship’s ropes used for tying down the ship to the dock.
Many of the ornaments are nautical shapes.
Such as buoys, starfish and rope balls made to looks like ball ornaments.
Even sea creatures are part of the holiday décor decorations.
The check-in area of the lobby is decorated with poinsettia decorated tress and wreaths.
With some sea reef decorations added in to make it look like the wreath just arrived from the sea.
Similar décor is around the lobby and into the resort’s store, Conch Flats General Store.
Lots of blue, green and gold ornaments adorn the garland and trees inside the store.
Combined with more of the rope decorations makes it bring a festive yet seaworthy quality to the decorations.
Be sure to stop by and see the decked out halls of Old Key West.
Other Resort’s Holiday Décor
The decorations continue around Old Key West resort, giving the whole resort a very festive feeling.
While visiting Walt Disney World for the holidays, be sure to allow yourself time to visit other resorts from where you are staying.
To be able to see many of the other resorts holiday decorations.
Such as, Port Orleans French Quarter and it’s uniquely Mardi Gras looking decor.
Or the Gingerbread castle that is part of the Holiday Decorations at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
If you love Gingerbread, like I do, be sure to stop by and visit the Grand Floridian’s lobby and the HUGE gingerbread house.
Where you can even buy yourself a gingerbread cookie.
Including one in the shape of the shingles used to roof the house.
Or even buy yourself a smaller version of the Grand Floridian’s Gingerbread house.
