Christmas Tree Arrives at Animal Kingdom
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog over the past few weeks, you know that the Holiday decorations are being put up across the resort. Now, the Animal Kingdom Park is no exception with the arrival of its Christmas Tree.
Like each of the theme parks, each of the park’s Christmas Trees are extremely unique.
The Magic Kingdom’s Christmas Tree
The Magic Kingdom’s Christmas tree is very classic. With it’s popcorn garland, classic ornaments and candle lights.
EPCOT’s Christmas Tree
EPCOT’s Christmas tree is decorated in brighter colors with ornaments that are nods to countries all over the world.
With Season’s Greetings ornaments in a multitude of languages and various country’s flags ornaments.
Hollywood Studio’s Christmas Tree
Hollywood Studio’s Christmas Tree is also classic holidays but in a more whimsical way.
I love how it looks like the ornaments are falling off the tree and are scattered throughout the lake below.
Uniqueness of the Animal Kingdom’s Christmas Tree
One of the unique things that I love about the Animal Kingdom’s Christmas tree is that unlike all 3 other parks, it is not inside the Animal Kingdom theme park but sits right out in front of the entrance.
Under the Animal Kingdom’s tree you will find brightly wrapped presents with animals and Disney characters scattered amongst the presents.
Eeyore looks like he is going to be a fun holiday gift, a rocking Eeyore instead of a rocking horse.
He says “Thanks for noticing.”
His friends Piglet and Tigger are nearby.
Tigger, of course, is a Tigger in a box (like a Jack in a box).
Springing out of his box to do some bouncing.
On the tree itself, the ornaments are classic Christmas colors of green red and gold.
Plus there are many animal ornaments all over the tree, making it looks like the animals are staring out from the branches.
Other decorations on the tree look like the are handmade, hand me down ornaments of old.
Giving the Animal Kingdom Park’s tree a whimsical and yet distinguished look to it.
Keep following along with MickeyBlog as we continue to share with you all of the beautiful holiday decorations around the Walt Disney World Resort.
