VIDEO: Disney Releases New Trailer For Pixar’s ‘Elemental’
In May, an exciting entertainment offering was announced, and today, we’ve got your first look. Disney just released a new trailer for Pixar’s Elemental!
Elemental
Premiering next year on June 16, 2023, Elemental is about exactly what you’d expect, the elements! More specifically, it tells the story of a city in which fire, water, land, and air residents all live together.

One of its main characters is a fiery young woman, and we mean that literally; she’s actually made of fire! Another featured character is a go-with-the-flow guy made of water.
Disney describes that the pair are “about to discover something elemental: How much they actually have in common.” The trailer shows the first meeting of the literally elemental opposites!

Disney and Pixar seem to up the ante with every new, computer-animated film they produce. The visuals in the trailer look absolutely spectacular!

New Trailer
Upon its opening, we see a train whooshing through a tunnel filled with water. Its first stop is Elemental City!
A fiery young woman boards a railcar filled with various forms of elements. Trees, plants, water, and clouds are just some of the interesting characters she passes by.

A jolly soundtrack plays as she walks through on legs made of fire. She looks out the window at a colorful, bustling city filled with tall buildings.
As she goes to pick up some headphones she dropped, a go-with-the-flow water character reaches out to help. A droplet coming from his hand sizzles as it falls upon her fiery fist.
She’s Ember. 🔥 He’s Wade. 💧 Welcome to Element City.

He apologizes, and she removes her hood to reveal her face. After introducing himself as Wade, she responds that her name is Ember.
Disney cleverly closes the trailer with the phrase, “Opposites React 2023.” I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait to see this!
