Crafts, Characters, and More: Inside “Winter Wonderland” at Night of Million Lights!
Night of a Million Lights is back for the 2022 Holiday season! Currently dazzling guests at Island H2O Waterpark, this years’ event heavily focuses on the youngest demographic- the kids!
After visiting the event on opening night, we are highlighting one of the most popular areas of the event set up entirely for the enjoyment of the youngsters in attendance!
Winter Wonderland
Photo Ops
On the event map, we noticed an all-new area dedicated to kids at Night of a Million Lights.
The area is full of fun and festive photo backdrops, perfect for capturing sharable images of your kids surrounded by a glittering winter wonderland! An oversized snowman and life-size snow globe were definitely the favorites!
Crafts
Whenever the kids in attendance took a break from seeing the lights, they all seemed to congregate in the crafts area! The crafts area is full of complimentary crafts for you and your children to do while visiting the event!
We spotted a scratch-off, design-your-own ornament table complete with wooden dowels to create whatever festive design came to mind.
The children also loved the temporary tattoo and sticker section too! While the kids were definitely excited, I couldn’t resist getting a temporary gingerbread man tattoo to get in the Holiday spirit!
If your child wants to write a letter to Santa, Night of a Million Lights offers both paper AND a mailbox that delivers directly to the North Pole.
Character Meets
While anyone can meet Santa in his cottage just steps outside of ‘Winter Wonderland’, Rudolph was inside the kids’ area meeting and greeting with kids and their families before he makes his round-the-world flight on December 24th.
All in all, there is a ton for kids to do at Night of a Million Lights this year! Proceeds go to the wonderful Give Kids the World Village, so hurry and buy your tickets here before the event sells out!
