Disney Will Not Resume Annual Pass Sales Until 2023
With the news today that Disney will be increasing the price of its Walt Disney World Annual Passes, many fans were wondering when they would get the chance to purchase new passes again.
For those of you who don’t know, Walt Disney World has paused sales on three of its four Annual Passes since November 2021. At this time, they also rebranded the passes, creating the Incredi-Pass, Pirate Pass, Sorcerer Pass and Pixie Pass.

The only exception to the November halt has been the lowest level Pixie Pass, which is exclusively available for Florida residents.
Although the company has allowed current Annual Pass holders to renew their passes, they have been quiet on when new Annual Pass sales will resume.

Well, although we don’t have an exact date on when sales will resume, Disney did state today that it will not be anytime this year.
As reported by Scott Gustin, Walt Disney World does not anticipate any new Annual Pass sales before 2023. This, despite the previous announcement today about the new prices.

While this news will certainly be a disappointment to some, it is not entirely unexpected. With the busy holiday season in full swing, Walt Disney World does not have a pressing need to increase attendance by re-opening Annual Pass sales.
At this point, it appears that Disney will wait until after New Years, when the slower season begins, to resume sales. Hopefully by January we will at least have an updated timeline.
