Elsa Has Us All In A Flurry Over the New “Frozen” Treat at Disney’s Blizzard Beach!
Happy Sunday everyone! Isn’t it a fantastic day to be enjoying the grand reopening of Disney’s Blizzard Beach?
Especially now the rain has subsided, we can get back to enjoying the watery wintertime wonderland we’ve been missing for all these months!
Amidst all the fun of exploring the park, including enjoying new experiences, meeting Santa, and having a festive float around the lazy river, we think it’s time cool off with a sweet new snack.
Luckily, while on her travels, our MickeyBlogger Kristen had heard that there was a new, Elsa-inspired treat to be found, hiding among the snowy peaks of the park.
Thankfully, after a while of hunting around, (and perhaps singing “Show Yourself” around various dining locations,) Kristen’s hunt was successful. Now, let’s all stop to admire and enjoy this – the most magical Frozen treat you ever did see!
Simply named the Elsa Ice Cream Cone, this delightful dessert is new on the menu at I.C Expeditions, the friendly ice cream truck dining location parked in the heart of the park.
You can’t go wrong with a classic ice cream cone, and this one sure is magical to look at!
The dessert consists of a classic vanilla soft-serve ice cream, piled high in a waffle cone that has been dipped in white chocolate.
A flurry of “frozen fractals” coats the whole thing, and a white chocolate slab depicting a powerful portrait of Elsa finishes the treat off marvellously!
According to Kristen, this is very much a standard yet classic ice cream when it comes to flavor.
However, we all agree that it’s cute-factor and photogenic ability sure does make it a worthwhile treat!
The Elsa Cone costs $5.99 at I.C Expeditions. You can read it’s menu card below for more information…
If you’re in the mood for something cool and sweet on your next trip to Blizzard Beach, we’d also recommend checking out the Watermelon-Passion Lemonade drink, available over at Lottawatta Lodge.
It’s a great alternative to this ice-cream for when you’re feeling thirsty after a morning on the slopes!
Would you try the Elsa Cone on your next trip to Disney’s Blizzard Beach?
