The Grand Floridian Gingerbread House is Officially Open for Business
Over the past several days, we have been closely monitoring the progress of the iconic Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Today, I am thrilled to confirm the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House is officially open for business!
As always, MickeyBlog was one of the first to be on the scene at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa as the Gingerbread House started serving up some of the sweetest sips and snacks in Walt Disney World.
In case you didn’t know, The Grand Floridian Gingerbread House is actually a miniature store that serves up some of the best holiday-themed trips in all of the World. I mean, what is better than purchasing your Gingerbread Man Cookie from an actual Gingerbread House?!
As you can see in the EARidescent hues, for a second year, the Gingerbread House has been designed with nods to Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations.
How adorable is this jolly EARidescent Santa Claus?!
And, look at that detail! As always, Disney magic.
While MickeyBlog was one of the first ones on the scene for the opening this morning, several other Walt Disney World Guests were there as well to check it out.
And, of course, some happy Cast Members were excited for the opening to get underway!

One of my favorite parts of the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House is the mouthwatering smell as soon as you walk into the Resort’s Lobby. I feel with these photos though I can almost smell the deliciousness! If you have ever smelled this festive site in the past, you know what I mean!
