BREAKING Reopening Plans for Disney World
MickeyBlog fans, we have breaking news for reopening plans at Walt Disney World Resort. Due to Hurricane Nicole, Walt Disney World encountered a phased closing. However, here is the reopening information.
The Update
This update came on November 9, 2022, at 7:00 pm. Walt Disney World stated, “We are continuing to closely monitor Hurricane Nicole. While this schedule could change, we are planning for a phased reopening beginning tomorrow, Nov. 10, based on current projections.”
Theme Parks
Theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort will phase their reopening beginning at noon tomorrow, November 10, 2022. Specific theme park operation hours for November 10 are the following:
- Magic Kingdom Park: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. to midnight.
- EPCOT: 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; however, Fantasmic! will not be presented on November 10, 2022, due to the production setup.
- Transportation to theme parks will begin 30 minutes prior to the specific parks’ scheduled reopening time.
- In addition, reservations within the theme parks will resume at the scheduled park reopening time.

Disney Springs
Also, Disney Springs begins a phased reopening at noon on November 10, 2022. Disney bus transportation to Disney Springs resumes at 2:00 pm tomorrow, as well.
Water Parks and Mini Golf
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will be closed tomorrow, but they may reopen on Friday, November 11, 2022.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon also remains temporarily closed tomorrow, November 10, 2022. It too may open on Friday, November 11, 2022. As a reminder, Disney’s Blizzard Beach is currently closed.
Disney Resorts
Currently, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground plans to reopen on Friday, November 10, 2022, after the storm damage assessment. However, Disney World canceled Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue tomorrow, November 10, 2022.

The Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort reopens tomorrow for Guests planning to check in.
For now, all other Walt Disney World Resort hotels remain open to Walt Disney World Resort Guests. Please, keep in mind that character breakfasts at Disney Resort hotels will not include characters tomorrow morning, November 10, 2022.
