Orlando To Host U.S. Marathon Trials For 2024 Olympics
We have some exciting news to share regarding the state of Florida. Orlando will be hosting the U.S. Marathon Trials for the 2024 Olympics!

The 2024 Summer Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024. Paris is its main host city, and subsites include 16 cities in Metropolitan France, as well as 1 in Tahiti, a French overseas territory.
This marks the sixth Olympic games to be hosted by France. The country has been chosen for three Summer Olympics and three Winter Olympics.
U.S. Marathon Trials
News broke today, that the 2024 United States Olympic Marathon trials would be held in Orlando, Florida! USA Track and Field made the announcement.
The chosen site for the remainder of the track and field trials is still being evaluated. Click Orlando shares that only the top 3 men and women who finish the marathon will earn a place at the Paris Olympics.

The race will commence on February 3, 2024. In order to make it, finishers have to meet the qualifying standard.
Max Siegel, USA Track and Field CEO shared, “We’re excited to see great competition and fast times.” Sarah Hirshland, U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee CEO stated, “As the pathway for making Team USA, the U.S. Olympic Team Trials stand out as remarkable sporting events.”
She added, “We have no doubt Orlando will welcome our elite runners and put on a world-class event.” Atlanta was chosen to host the U.S. Marathon trials for the Tokyo Games in 2020.
Afterward, when the coronavirus pandemic hit, the Olympics were postponed for a summer. Eugene Oregon held the rest of the U.S. track trials for Tokyo in June 2021 at Hayward Field.
