Magic Kingdom Cast Members Break Out ‘Very Merry’ Party Costumes
The weather outside might actually be frightful at Magic Kingdom tonight, but rain is no match for the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the year. Cast members greeted guests of this year’s inaugural festivities in their traditional holiday party ensembles.
With two styles to choose from, cast members looked fit for the Christmas season. Bright reds, evergreens, and whites dominate both costume choices.
Clad in ponchos too, the greeters provided such a merry and bright touch to kick off tonight’s party. For the skirted costume, cast members layered a Christmas Tree-patterned long-sleeved top with a candy cane-striped apron. A bold red skirt ties the look together along with the coordinating candy cane bow.
The second look uses the same candy-colored red for the pants and long-sleeved Christmas Tree collared shirt. This look also shows off the bright crimson buttons that dot the shirt. A deep green bowtie dresses up the ensemble that finds itself finished with a hat reminiscent of the seaon’s top guy, Santa Claus.
Cast member costumes like these only come out during the special After Hours events, like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Along with special parades, shows, fireworks, and treats, the costumes always add a special touch to the exclusive event.
MickeyBloggers Greg, Elyssa Jared and Jessica are all on the ground tonight at Magic Kingdom to bring us tonight’s exciting festivities in real time. Stay tuned for all of the “Once Upon a Chirstmastime” fun.
