A Soggy Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade Kicks Off the Holiday Season
Oh, the weather outside is frightful but that hasn’t stopped our MickeyBloggers from bringing us a first look of the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party parade also known as – Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.
Though Hurricane Season obviously didn’t get the MEMO that it’s over, crowds braved the elements to get a first look at this beloved parade culminating in a visit from Santa!
Each year we forget how much we love this parade and are quickly reminded. This is the perfect chance to see some of your favorite Disney characters making their way down Main Street USA.
Kicking things off were Queen Elsa and a few of her other friend from Arendelle.
This also included an appearance from Olaf!
Mickey and Minnie also make an appearance surrounded with presents and a beautifully decorated tree!
One of my favorites floats is Goofy’s candy-filled appearance.
Surrounded by sweet treats, Goofy comes bearing delectable treats including a giant gumball machine.
Clarabelle Cow has a fully-stocked kitchen on her float. We wonder what goodies she’s baking up.
The Once Upon a Christmastime Parade also features some fun characters that you’ll ONLY see during the holidays.
These adorable gingerbread men are a great example!
Chip and Dale also showed up in their Christmas outfits!
Ralph joined us from the front porch of his Gingerbread House!
Vanellope also kitted out her car for the occassion.
The Seven Dwarfs were on hand this evening with only Grumpy seeming to mind the weather.
Wherever the Dwarfs are, Snow White is sure to follow!
Snow White was joined by some of her fellow royals. This includes Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, Jasmine, Tiana and Rapunzel.
You can see Snow White below keeping an eye on her friends!
The Princes were also on hand!
Some of our favorite Pixar friends also showed up including Bullseye, Forky and more!
Another highlight of the parade each year is the march of the Toy Soldiers.
It’s always a magical moment to see these soldiers march in perfect time.
Despite the weather, you can see the massive crowds in Town Square who decided to brave the elements for a glimpse of the parade.
Next up are Santa’s reindeer!
We link to think that they’re getting some cardio in before pulling Santa’s sleigh!
Now it’s time for the grand finale…
It’s Santa! He looked amazing perched atop his present-filled sleigh. He does a quick scan of the crowd to see who’s been naughty or nice.
