Encanto Turns into a Concert Experience
One thing we can’t deny as Disney fans is our love for Encanto and the film’s songs. Well, we have some exciting news to share as Encanto turns into a concert experience in mid-November.

Encanto Comes to Life
So, Disney’s animated hit film comes to life at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, November 11, 2022, and Saturday, November 12, 2022. The movie transforms into an immersive concert experience these two nights.

Of course, the concert will have performances by the original cast of Encanto. In addition, there will be a special introduction by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who created the soundtrack for the film.

Latinos and Film
KTLA originally reported on this information, and two of the film’s stars spoke to Megan Telles from KTLA. Therefore, they talked about the upcoming concert.
Of course, Carolina Gaitán (who voiced Tía Pepa) and Adassa (the voice of cousin Dolores) are both excited about the show. Carolina said, “It’s going to be huge, it’s going to be amazing. The Hollywood Bowl is such an iconic place. You’re going to see the ‘Casita Madrigal’ and see all the butterflies. There will be more than 64 live musicians on stage. It’s going to be a huge show.”
Wow! Can you imagine seeing Casita Madrigal? Hence, I wonder if it will come to life just like in the movie.

Megan Telles also asked the ladies about their feelings regarding the importance of highlighting Latino culture in film and television. Adassa remarked that Encanto allows Latinos to see themselves on screen. She said, “You can sit with your family and say ‘Look! There is my grandma, there’s my mom, there’s me.’ I finally can see me reflected.”
