Having placed an order at The Trolley Car Cafe at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, our reporters were lucky enough to try the sweet flavors of caramel, peppermint, and cookie in the festive range of treats, assuring us that the holiday season has well and truly arrived!
However, there was another new item available, which we thought needed its own special announcement…
While also having been newly released on the menu just this week, it’s not the holidays this cupcake is commemorating.
Instead, this limited-edition treat is radiant in its celebration for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, making this a birthday cupcake like no other!
Entitled the “Glimmer and Shimmer Earl Grey Cupcake,” this treat really is a new menu item to be excited about!
As the name suggests, the cupcake is flavored with the delicate power of Earl Grey tea, giving the cake an exquisite taste for elegant palettes!
To make it even more delightful, the cupcake is smothered in a glorious amount of delicious buttercream frosting, that may be blue in color, but it’s flavored in the sweetest of orange!
There are dozens of shining sprinkles dotted around the base of the frosting, which look brilliantly radiant against the art-deco inspired, gold cupcake case.
Then, to finish the masterpiece off, there is a stunningly sparkling chocolate coin perched on top, etched with that iconic 50th anniversary castle logo!
