FIRST LOOK: Retro Holiday Decorations Adorn Hollywood Studios
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Our MickeyBlogger is on the scene this afternoon where retro Christmas decorations adorn the street-lights, awnings and more!
Hollywood Studios has always had some of my favorite decorations so let’s take a closer look.
We’re starting with one of my personal favorites – the Santa hat that Gertie gets.
She also has an giant red bauble hanging from her mouth.
Some of the lampposts in the park get these stunning Christmas Tree adornments.
We love the old-fashioned ornaments and multi-colored tinsel.
Even the shady umbrellas get holiday makeovers.
Down Hollywood Boulevard you’ll find sparkly garlands overhead.
We love the plush dolls hidden in the garland below.
We see reindeer, elves and even Santa hidden amongst the silver tinsel and multi-colored baubles.
This reindeer wreath is wonderfully vintage.
As is the display outside of Hollywood and Vine!
Look it’s one of Santa’s adorable reindeer.
There’s also colorful holiday greenery on the pillars outside of Hollywood & Vine.
You’ll find hints of Christmas everywhere you look.
Here’s a closer look at the garlands on Hollywood Boulevard.
There are retro-style wreaths and red, green and gold garlands every where you look!
Always be sure to look up when visiting Disney World during the holidays. that’s where you’ll see some of the best decorations!
We love the rainbow display at Mouse About Town.
Notice the vintage Santa and Snowman decorations in the center of the wreath below.
We also noticed pretty pastels.
We can’t wait to show you what all of these incredible decorations look like at night!
We’ll be sticking around to bring you coverage of Fantasmic! tonight so keep following along with us!
I’m positive I had this Santa decoration as a child!
The Indy shop has been updated with garlands and tinsel.
Here’s another look at the Sunset Boulevard streetlamps which have been adorned with vintage stars.
Fairfax Fare has been decorated with a silvery garland and multi-colored vintage baubles.
A colorful garland decorates the second level of 50’s Prime Time Café.
Just outside 50s prime time you’ll see another vintage wreath featuring beautiful birds.
Here are a few addition images from Echo Lake.
In addition to Gertie you’ll see colorful baubles floating on the water.
Echo Lake looks so awesome this time of year. Be sure to have your holiday photos snapped in this location.
Here are a few videos we took during our walk through Hollywood Studios this morning.
It’s definitely beginning to feel like the Yuletide Season!
