Night Work Begins at Polynesian DVC Construction Site
From the moment it was announced, we’ve been consistently bringing you updates on the massive DVC Construction site at the Polynesian. The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show has long been demolished, and major progress is being made on the new DVC tower.
Just yesterday, we spotted a construction vehicle transporting generator lights into the otherwise closed site. The road was temporarily closed between the Grand Floridian and Shades of Green as the truck delivered the lighting units.
Last night, those lighting units were already being put to use as night work has begun on the site!
This can only further signal Disney’s desire to quickly construct the tower and begin filling it with guests.
The walkway connecting the Grand Floridian to the Polynesian remains closed.
Guests must use the temporary walkway to access the Polynesian by crossing the street near the Magnolia Golf Course/Shades of Green, and cross back to enter the Polynesian grounds.
When do you think the new DVC tower will open? Leave a comment and let us know!
