9 Reasons We are ‘Frozen’ with Excitement That Blizzard Beach is Reopening Next Month
Did you hear the news?! Blizzard Beach is reopening next month! And, not only is it reopening, there are going to be some all-new elements from the hit movie, “Frozen,” incorporated in the Walt Disney World Water Park and much more!
Here’s our 9 reasons we are excited for Blizzard Beach’s reopening next month on November 13, 2023:
1. It’s a ‘Frozen’ Take Over!
As we reported earlier this week, new “Frozen” elements have been installed in Tike’s Peak.
Once Blizzard Beach reopens, your little ones can now enjoy an extra dose of Disney magic in Tike’s Peak when they enjoy splashing around on the mini-slides and attractions looking over Anna and Elsa’s castle. Also, be on the lookout for Olaf and the Snowgies while wading in the warm pool!
2. Enjoy Some Holiday Cheer
Once Blizzard Beach reopens next month, Guests will also be able to enjoy some limited-time holiday cheer through December 31, 2022.
Holidays happenings at the Water Park include limited-edition food and beverage options such as the Orange Bird DOLE Whip cone and Peppermint Milkshake. There’s also everything from holiday tunes and festive inner tubes to snow and even a festively-dressed Santa!
3. Plunge Down Summit Plummet
Ready to experience the fastest attraction in all of Walt Disney World? Then, make sure to hop in line for Summit Plummet and you will experience a thrilling, near vertical drop down one of the tallest and fastest freefall body slides around.
4. Enjoy New and Old Savory and Sweet Menu Items
Ready to sink your teeth into something new when Blizzard Beach reopens next month? Then, look no further than the Cajun Shrimp and Grits and Watta-Melon Passion Lemonade from Lottawatta Lounge.
If you are looking for some sweet favorites, such as seasonal DOLE Whip offerings, a Double Bacon Cheeseburger and the iconic 50th Ice Dream Sand Pail Sundae will make their triumphant return.
5. Relax in a Polar Patio
I you are looking to just spend some time relaxing during your visit, make sure to make your reservation for a Polar Patio. There private patio spaces come equipped with comfortable seating options and refillable drink mugs.
6. Race Your Friends and Family at Toboggan Racers
Find out who the fastest racer really is when you enjoy a course filled with dips and hills toboggan style.
7. Team Up on Teamboat Springs
It’s all hands on deck when you get all your friends and family together on a raft on Teamboat Springs. Be prepared for twists, turns, and a complete drenching as you travel downhill on an oversized raft.
8. Take a Chair Lift to the top of Mount Gushmore
Take a leisurely journey to the top of Mount Gushmore on Blizzard Beach’s very own chair lift. On the ascent, you’ll catch some great views of Summit Plummet, Slush Gusher, Teamboat Spring, and more.
9. Rush Down Runoff Rapids
You’ll twist, turn, and twist some more on one of the three slides of Runoff Rapids. Be prepared for a massive splashdown at the end!
