Cool Wash Transforms Into Refreshment Station At EPCOT
It seems that there’s always some form of construction occurring at Walt Disney World Resort. Cool Wash has now transformed into Refreshment Station at EPCOT.

Known for its refreshing variety of assorted slushies, the location is also a relaxing spot to cool off. Misters and cooling fans provide Guests with relief from the hot and humid Florida weather.

That being said, it’s no surprise the quick service location has changed its name to Refreshment Station. Walt Disney World’s official website states that Cool Wash is temporarily unavailable.

Mickey Blog was recently in the Parks and noticed the new changes. Let’s take a closer look at what we can gather based on its appearance.
The sign has clearly been changed, giving the exterior a much more updated look to go with the theming of the area. Gray and red are still the main colors but the curvature of the sign gives it a more modern appearance.
The Coca-Cola and slushie images underneath the text make it easy for Guests to know exactly what the dining location serves. This is always useful, especially when you’re in a rush or have kiddos with you!
Black, red, and gold flank the entrance to the Refreshment Station similar to the original Cool Wash’s design. Images of Coca-Cola, bubbles, and straws complete the new look.
No additional information has been released on the slushie hot spot. The beverage location was interchangeably referred to as the Test Track Cool Wash, due to its position in World Discovery.

EPCOT’s World Discovery is a themed area focusing on science, technology, and intergalactic adventure. Attractions in the area include Test Track, Mission: Space, Space 220 Restaurant, and the Wonders of Xandar Pavilion which includes Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
