During Harrison Ford’s tearful goodbye at the ‘Indiana Jones 5’ trailer premiere at D23, I truly thought one of my heroes was going to officially retire from acting.

Instead, I am here to tell you that I was so wrong. Harrison Ford is adding the MCU to his long list of outstanding accomplishments.
Harrison Ford in the MCU
Earlier in 2022, the MCU sadly lost Oscar winning actor William Hurt who previously portrayed Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross.

We first met Thunderbolt Ross on screen in ‘The Incredible Hulk’ in 2008. Then again in ‘Captain America: Civil War.’ Followed by ‘Avengers; Infinity War,’ ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ and ‘Black Widow.’
Due to Thunderbolt Ross playing a pivotal role in the MCU and Marvel Comics, the character of Thunderbolt couldn’t be written off after the death of William Hurt.

Since then, rumors have been swirling that Harrison Ford was Marvel’s top choice as a replacement.
Ford has now been confirmed to portray Thunderbolt Ross in ‘Captain America: New World Order’ and ‘Thunderbolts.’ Both Marvel films will have their theatrical debut 2024.
From Han Solo, to Indy, …to Hulk?
This also has many Marvel fans speculating if Harrison Ford will have the opportunity to go “Hulk.” We already know that “Red Hulk” was recently name dropped in the Disney+ series, ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.’

Thunderbolt Ross has been hunting Bruce Banner’s Hulk in Marvel comics for a very long time. And, with the Hulk storyline expanding in ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,’ fans are wondering if this will drive the World War Hulk storyline where we could see Red Hulk and Hulk battle it out on screen.
