‘Soul’ Counselor Dazzles on New Pencil Holder
In Pixar Studios’ 2020 feature film “Soul,” the Counselors usher in new souls upon their arrival and mentor them before sending them to Earth. Today, we spotted a pencil holder dedicated to one of the sage advisors.
All named “Jerry,” the new pencil holder takes the shape of Jerry A, the advisor who helps guide lead character Joe when he arrives at the Great Before. In the film, Jerry A receives her voice from actress Alice Braga, a Brazilian actress who appeared in “I am Legend” and “City of God.”
Thanks to a very clever paint job, the Jerry A decorative office piece appears in shades of iridescent blue and purple on one side and equally metallic, warmer shades on the backside.
The durable pencil holder retails for $24.99 in the parks. We spotted it today during a stop at Riverside Depot.
Riverside Depot can be found across the walkway from Discovery Trading Company just before the Tree of Life inside of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Speaking of Discovery Trading Company, today MickeyBloggers also spotted a number of exciting new merchandise choices there related to another popular, soulful Pixar film, “Coco.”
As MickeyBlogger Angel popped by today, cast members placed new kitchenware as well as decorative pieces out on the shelves. The marigold-centered throw pillow especially caught our attention.
