NEW Haunted Mansion Display Brings The Halloween Vibes To Grand Floridian
Our MickeyBlogger popped by the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa today at Walt Disney World and noticed that a new Haunted Mansion Halloween display has been put up!
It features the famous ghost carriage as well as a display of other iconic images from the beloved Liberty Square ride.
There’s a frame as part of the display which gives a history of Constance Hatchaway, the famous ghost bride from the attraction.
Perfectly in keeping with Disney’s Halloween traditions, the Haunted Mansion display is made of chocolate. It features an urn like structure as well as a suitcase topped with roses.
You can also see a string of pearls as well as a tea setting. To the right is a wedding cake and if you look closely you’ll notice that the groom’s head is missing in classic Constance Hatchaway style.
Topping off the display is the famous Haunted Mansion plaque with an axe through the top – again in homage to Constance Hatchaway.
It is absolutely amazing what Disney’s chocolatiers can accomplish!
Be on the lookout for this impressive tribute during your visit to the Grand Floridian.
You’ll find it in the main lobby.
Here are a few more images we took of the hearse carriage.
It has a spooky candelabra on the top and is surrounded by pumpkins.
