BREAKING NEWS: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Is Getting a Holiday Makeover
We’ve got some exciting news for Guardians of the Galaxy fans! Disney has just announced that Walt Disney World will be getting its FIRST holiday themed overlay at EPCOT’s new attraction Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. We’ve long been jealous of Haunted Mansion Holiday over at Disneyland Park as well as Monsters After Dark over at Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission- BREAKOUT. Now, it looks like we’re getting our own version.

Disney hasn’t revealed too much about what Holiday Remix will include but it looks as if one thing that fans can count on is a seasonal soundtrack that will feature some rocking holiday jams!
The Disney Parks Blog TikTok posted a TikTok video teasing the new holiday overlay, with Groot and Rocket riding in one of the Starjumpers with extra holiday cheer, too.

According to a post on Marvel, The galaxy-saving group will be trading in their classic hits playlist for a mash-up of seasonal holiday tunes.

We suspect that this will all tie in nicely with The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special which is coming to Disney+ later this year. James Gunn has signed on to write and direct the project. Gunn confirmed back in April 2021 that he had completed the script for the project.
