What Halloween Is Like on the Disney Wish
We only have 25 days to go until Halloween and this is a momentous year for Disney Cruise Line as it is the first time that the newest ship in the fleet, Disney Wish, celebrating Halloween with special Halloween on the High Seas Sailings!
As a matter of fact, we have a few images to share with you of the incredible décor, costumes, events and more you’ll find aboard the Wish during the Spooky Season!
Pumpkins Fit For a Princess
I was awe-struck when I saw this first image of the Grand Hall all decorated for the Fall. Notice the beautiful garlands of foliage, pumpkins and florals.
You can also catch a first glimpse of the all-new Pumpkin Tree. Every Disney Cruise S ship features a Pumpkin Tree in the atrium just as each Pumpkin Tree has its own unique look and personality. The Disney Wish version features slightly lighter bark, elegant branches and a mystical face. According to legend, the enchanted tree is named Boo!. She grew perfect gourds and with the help of a special Wishing Star created the perfect pumpkin to take Cinderella to the Prince’s Ball.
Celebrate the Season With the Sanderson Sisters
You Halloween on the High Seas sailing aboard the Disney Wish is sure to put a spell on you with a new character meet and greet opportunity! Mickey Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow can be found running amuck on the ship dressed up as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus.
Not-To-Be-Missed High Seas Events
There’s a whole host of other awesome Halloween on the High Seas experiences that you won’t want to miss including:
- Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party: This spooktacular deck party features your favorite Disney Characters in their Halloween attire.
- Adults Only Activities – The adult exclusive venues aboard the Disney Wish will be getting in on the fun with costume contests and a Villainous Takeover on the dance floor.
- Spooky Movies – Ge in the spirit of the season with Halloween movies show on the giant Funnel Vision screen by the family pool. Halloween programming will also be available in your staterooms.
- Ghoulish Eats and Treats – All around the ship you’ll find special themed food and beverage items. Don’t forget to do some trick-or-treating.
