Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Opening at Disneyland Earlier Than Scheduled
If you have been waiting for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway to open at the Disneyland Resort, I have some good news for you! Disney has just confirmed that this much-anticipated attraction will be opening earlier than scheduled on January 27, 2023!
This new opening date for Mickey & Minnie’s Runway Railway was just announced at the same time Disney revealed their plans for The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary celebrations at the Disneyland Resort. To read more about Disney100, please CLICK HERE.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opened to much fanfare at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World back in March 2020. Since then, fans of the dynamic duo have been (un)patiently waiting for the attraction to come over to the West Coast and the Disneyland Resort! And, I am just so excited that time is almost here!
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be a part of the re-imagined Mickey’s Toontown which is also currently under renovation.

In addition to the early opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, the Disney100 celebrations at the Disneyland Resort also includes new platinum outfits for Mickey and Minnie as well as a platinum makeover for Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park.
But, that’s not all! Disney also announced two, new nighttime spectaculars for the Disneyland Resort and the return of the “Magic Happens” parade at Disneyland Park for the Disney100 celebrations.
Disney100 celebrations won’t just take place at the Disneyland Resort either! Disney has announced that this will be a “world-wide” celebration taking place throughout all of 2023.
