‘Disney Animation Immersive Experience’ Premieres in U.S. in 2023

A magical event will soon be available for North American fans to enjoy. The ‘Disney Animation Immersive Experience’ premieres in the U.S. in 2023!

The ‘Disney Animation Immersive Experience’

‘Disney Animation Immersive Experience’ was created as a sensory experience transporting viewers into animated worlds from movies. Walt Disney Animation Studios collaborated with Lighthouse Immersive Studios to bring the vision to life.

Lighthouse Immersive Studios

Lighthouse Immersive Studios produced the Immersive Van Gogh Experience, an exhibit featuring 500,000 cubic feet of animated Van Gogh projections. Some of the films featured in Disney’s exhibition will be fan favorites: Encanto, Zootopia, Frozen, The Lion King, Peter Pan, and Pinocchio.

Mirroring the effect of a ride, the experience will make Guests feel like they’re placed right in the middle of the action, among beloved Disney characters. Those who don’t live next to a Disney Park will have the opportunity to get their fix through this creative exhibit.

Important Dates

‘Disney Animation Immersive Experience’ will celebrate its world premiere in Toronto in December 2022. Cleveland will follow in February 2023, with the show running for 12 weeks.

WKYC reports that tickets are expected to go on sale next week. Corey Ross, the founder of Lighthouse Immersive, confirmed that Cleveland will be the first to host the show in the U.S. in a first-of-its-kind collaboration.

After Cleveland, the show will continue in Nashville, Detroit, Denver, Boston, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, and Columbus. The schedule is still being developed to include additional cities.
