BREAKING NEWS: Characters Return to Cape May Café Today!
It’s been a long time coming (2.5 years, to be exact), but “Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast” is BACK at Cape May Cafe!
Background
Cape May serves an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast full of traditional morning favorites.
The hearty breakfast includes hot breakfast staples like cheddar biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs, and oatmeal and grits.
You will also find custom items like a crepe station, fruit bar and of course, Cape May’s famous Salted Caramel “Beach Buns”!
Today’s Experience
While the buffet returned February, one thing has still been missing – CHARACTERS! But that ends today as Minnie and friends are back and MickeyBlog is here for it!
Bloggers Greg and Elyssa were in line bright and early this morning for one of the first reservations of the day at the New-England themed restaurant.
The buffet price increased with the return of characters. Previously, the breakfast buffet was priced at $25 per adult and $15 per child. As of today, the price increased to $45 per adult and $29 per child. These prices are on par with other character meals offered across Walt Disney World properties.
Not long after our bloggers were seated, Donald was the first character to appear!
Look how beachy he looks in his Hawaiian style shirt and sunhat. Surf’s up, dude!
Soon after, the star of the show – Minnie! Our Miss Mouse appeared in a beautiful cool toned sundress with a coordinating sun visor and matching pink heels. She looks so bright and sunny!
Next up, Goofy brought the silliness to breakfast! He surfed on in and danced around with some little Guests. This is the stuff Disney memories are made of!
Of course, some goofing off with our main guy Greg! It’s easy to forget that characters were still distanced from guests not that long ago.
We’re so glad these personal experiences are back!
Daisy danced on in and surfed around in her drapey sundress and tropical necklace and headband. She grabbed a child’s hand and paraded around with her new friend for a few minutes. We’re sure it made this little girl’s morning!
She swung by our MickeyBlog table to grab a hug with Greg .
And even gave Elyssa a quick peck on the forehead! This might be the stuff her memories are made of, too!

General Info
Currently the only buffet on the Boardwalk, Cape May Cafe is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, within walking distance of several other Disney Resort Hotels and right out of Epcot’s back gate!
Reservations are required, so if you’re heading to Walt Disney World soon, we recommend adding this fun character breakfast to your plans!
