Disney Artist Larry Dotson Will Be Signing at Disney Springs!

From Imagineers to the fine artists whose work we pore over in the stores at the parks, it’s so easy to get lost in the incredible worlds and depictions these artists create.

A fantastic way to truly appreciate and learn more about the wonderful Disney artists, is to visit the annual Epcot International Festival of the Arts, which usually takes place during the late winter months at Walt Disney World.
At this festival, guests are able to view, purchase, and even create different artworks, as well as taste unique, artisanal flavors and enjoy exclusive live performances.
One thing we especially love about the Epcot International Festival of the Arts is that it also allows guests to meet some of their favorite artists at exclusive signings.
Many artists are featured throughout the event, and are always happy to sign their work, chat, and tell guests more about the work they have created.
But, did you know that it is actually possible to meet Disney artists at Walt Disney World, even when the Epcot festival isn’t taking place? It’s true!
There are various stores around the resort where different artists may choose to visit, for a brief period to sign work purchased in-store by guests. A recent one took place at Bonjour! Village Gifts in the Magic Kingdom, where Nath McCullough stopped by for a summertime signing.
We’re thrilled to report that, while browsing the stores of Disney Springs this week, our MickeyBlog reporters caught wind that yet another signing is set to happen over the coming days,
This time at the Art of Disney store.

It’s the wonderful, internationally-recognized Disney artist Larry Dotson who will be paying a visit, and he’s bringing two special, original paintings with him!
Larry Dotson is a frequent visitor of Walt Disney World, and has been a featured artist at the Epcot festivals in the past.
His dreamy and detailed paintings beautifully capture the magic of the parks, so we’re sure he’d be a fantastic artist to meet if you’re passing Disney Springs later this week!
The exclusive signings were originally to be taking place from September 28th through October 2nd, between the hours of 2pm and 7pm.
But, Larry is also set to return later in October, according to his studio website.
