Important Update For Walt Disney World in Aftermath of Hurricane Ian
As the remnants of Hurricane Ian continue to result in bad weather across central Florida, we have the following Walt Disney World updates for you.

Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Water Parks
Walt Disney World theme parks will remain closed today (Thursday, September 29, 2022.) This includes the following:
- Magic Kingdom Park
- EPCOT
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park (Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently closed for the season.)
- Winter Summerland Miniature Golf, Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf
Those with partially used multi-day theme park tickets that have been impacted by Hurricane Ian park closures will automatically have their remaining entitlements extended through September 30, 2023.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

Dining, Enchanting Extras, and Special Events
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom has been cancelled for Thursday, Sept. 29.
Cancellation policies for Savi’s Workshop, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and VIP tours will not be enforced.
Performances of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review have been cancelled through September 30, 2022. Guests with pre-paid reservations will have them automatically cancelled and refunded.
Transportation
Walt Disney World Transportation has stopped operating and will being again once the storm has passed and subject to safety conditions.
Limited Minnie Van and Mears taxi service will be available to Walt Disney World resort guests with existing breakfast reservations.

Other Walt Disney World Experiences
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser voyages for Thursday, September 29 have been cancelled. Guests with reservations are asked to call 407.939.5209 for help modifying your plans.
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will be closed on Thursday, September 29, 2022.

Disney Springs
Disney Springs will remain temporarily closed on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
Drawn to Life presented by Cirque du Soleil & Disney is cancelled for Thursday, September 29, 2022. The 5:30 pm show on Friday, September 30 will also be reschedule to being at 8pm.
