Disney Is Waiving Change and Cancellation Fees For Check-In Dates Through October 6th
We’ve got an important update for those with Walt Disney World Resort reservations over the next week. The company has just announced that they are continuing to monitor Hurricane Ian and are making policy adjustments for the safety of both guests and cast members. With this in mind, Disney World is waiving all change and cancellation fees for guests looking to modify their reservations with check in dates through October 6, 2022.
Just to confirm that is through next Thursday. Disney World said in a statement that this extension is being offered due to potential weather impacts to guest travel plans.
Guests looking to amend your bookings are encouraged to reach out to your Travel Agent or Disney (if you booked your package directly) to modify your plans. Guests should note that you’ll need contact third party services directly if you’ve booked airfare, ground transportation etc. and abide by their cancellation and change policies.
